Ah, the sweet taste of success

Joe Rubino

Dr. Joe Rubino has always been a hard worker, but before network marketing he was a completely different person.

"I was introverted, and I worked like I did because it was the only thing I knew. Oxyfresh and 21TEN totally changed my life. Now I live a life of choice. I travel. I work from home. I pursue my passion of writing books and championing people to live their best lives."

Joe joined Oxyfresh in 1991 and quickly became a top Oxyfresh Distributor. By the time he was 37, he was able to retire from dentistry. But he didn't make any sacrifices when he left his job: through his work in Oxyfresh, he continued to earn a six-figure income.

Now he wants to duplicate that success with 21TEN, and he's well on his way. Already he's earned a berth aboard the Celebrity Solstice, the Caribbean's most luxurious cruise liner, and he's building a large and successful team.

When he first begins to recruit, he likes to send an email that will "show people the money" and create an opening. Then he'll follow up with another email to get them prequalified, and after that he'll make a phone a call.

"I think 99% of my business is via phone and email. This is the most effective way for me. I can talk to five to 10 people, and by the time I meet with them in person, they are prequalified."

While each Distributor has unique techniques and approaches to building their team, Joe's work ethic is characteristic of successful 21TENers.

"Success is about work ethic and a commitment to personal development. It's consistent daily action and asking yourself 'How can I be more effective in conversations with prospects?' and 'How can I support my team in their prospecting?'"

One of the ways he makes himself more effective is to always carry and use Life Shotz, especially when he's out to lunch or supper with a prospect.

Christine Schwan

It's Phoenix. It's hot. It's a recession. And Christine Schwan had just lost her job.

“I'm a speech pathologist, and I do a lot of work with special-needs clients. I was at the school, and a large group of us were suddenly let go at the same time. We were notified, we packed our boxes, and we were done. It all happened in just one day. I literally lost my income, and everything changed.”

Thankfully we were waiting for her, and now Christine's goal is financial freedom in two years. She's already won a berth aboard the Caribbean's most luxurious cruise, and she has high ambitions.

“I want to do what I want,” she says, “and I want to help people. I want to empower women and children globally. I want to travel. I want to photograph. I want to write. Life Shotz is my vehicle for everything I really want to do and the people I really want to help.”

Like many people, Christine found us because she was searching for changes. She had recently battled skin cancer, and the treatment had weakened her immune system. As she began her career as a Distributor, Christine turned to several key tools to help her achieve success:

Although the tools have been indispensible, Christine credits her team with much of her success.

“My whole team keeps me going. It would be impossible without them, and they're just great people. We all believe in making people healthier and wealthier as we improve the environment. We're like minded, and we're all heart-centered,” she says. “But that's the company. It's amazing.”

 

Sarah Cion

Sarah Cion earned fame and renown as an international jazz pianist and composer. She played with big jazz names like Clark Terry, Al Gray, and Etta Jones. She attended prestigious music schools and won multiple competitions. She toured Europe, the Middle East, and Japan. As a premier musician, she was a headliner and had already released a series of successful albums.

But her life as a jet-setting artist conflicted with her life as a mother, and she didn't want to sacrifice her family for her career. It was time for a change.

“I had to reinvent myself,” she says.

Sarah approached 21TEN with a positive, can-do attitude, and as she sees it, her success with 21TEN is more than skills. It's about the network.

According to Sarah, the most important advice is to create your own 21TEN story.

“Take the product, live it, and experience it for yourself,” she says. “I talk about the 21Ten opportunity every day. I simply cannot help it. Life Shotz has become a part of me. I am truly a product of the product.”

Sarah also takes advantage of the wealth of tools available to Distributors:

  • Carrying the water bottle with her everywhere
  • Ordering and sharing personal business cards
  • Distributing breakout journals
  • Sharing her favorite website pages and testimonials
  • Printing the Life Shotz drink recipes for new contacts

But most notably she uses product samples: “They're the most important things I have used to grow my business.”

And growing her business is key. Like many 21TENers, Sarah wanted a new career and new opportunities, and she kept her eyes and ears open for a calling that would give her the freedom she wanted. She had built an extensive personal network, and she suspected the next big break would come from this network.
